PM interview at Fivetran where the main ask was to prep and deliver a presentation on one of their connectors. Pretty product-specific exercise that required you to actually know the product.
- Prepare and deliver a presentation explaining one of Fivetran's connectors, as if you were a PM on that product.
“I picked one of the more common connectors thinking it'd be easier to talk about, but that backfired a bit because the interviewers clearly expected more nuance than just 'it syncs your data from X to your warehouse.' Had to get into schema handling, sync frequency, incremental vs full refresh tradeoffs.”
