Electronic Arts·Product Manager·Onsite - Behavioral / Leadership
May 2026
Interviewed for a PM role at EA. The questions were pretty standard behavioral stuff but a couple of them pushed into product craft territory, specifically around data and cross-team work. Nothing too wild, felt like a mid-level screen.
- What aspects of your work bring you the most satisfaction or sense of purpose?
- Which project or achievement are you most proud of, and what made it stand out to you?
- Tell me about something meaningful you learned in the past year and how it changed the way you work.
- Walk me through a time you used data to build a product recommendation that had a measurable outcome. How did you get stakeholders on board?
- Describe a time you worked closely with another team like Design, Engineering, or Production to reach an outcome that everyone felt ownership over.
- Can you recall a situation where you were confident you were right, but eventually discovered you were wrong? What did you take from that?
“Thought this was a warmup but it actually set the tone for everything after.” The rest of the author's notes on Product Manager interview at Electronic Arts, Onsite - Behavioral / Leadership round, covers how they worked through the question, what the panel pushed back on, and what they would do differently.
